My friends lost their baggages

Ok, i’m not going to Berlin, my friend gone there with car, they enjoyed themselves and me, too, e enjoyed stay at home. No fuss, no problems, for me and for them, we have both been happy with our decisions, they understood my willing to avoid a trip that could be hard for me and i could ruin my friend’s vacation.

Yesterday happened something that makes me think that i’m not so dumb in tryiing to avoid trips by airplane. Some friends of mine came here from Spain. An easy, point to point travel… But even with this easy travel they had problem. Once they arrived here, they had to wait more than two hours to just get out of the airport. In the end it came out that alla of their baggages could not be found anywhere. So they had to stay at the airport even more because they had to go to the lost and found office of the airline company they travelled with (which i will not mention for god’s sake) to fill some paper hoping to found their baggage. The personnel there has been very rude, not trying in anyway to help my friends and even not giving them the survival kit they deserved. They said that the kits where over due to the high number of lost baggages!

So once they come back, without any dress and so on… they checked the worldtrace site to see if their baggages were on the road to be found somewhere, only to have a criptic message that was not an answer at all. So they decided to phone the company. The first calla was answered by a guy that told them that he was not responsible for their baggages and he gave them anothere phone number. Well, they are still trying to have a reply from that number, the telephone rings but no one has answered yet.

My friends are very unhappy with this situation that if will continue sure will spoil their holyday. They already started to buy back what they already owned.

I will post updates on this adventure, but let me say that this give me one more reason to stay away from travels, expecially air travels.
